Beekeeping 101 Training – Start Bees With Confidence

Interested in keeping bees but not sure where to begin? Steinthal Valley Honey is offering Beekeeping 101 Training designed for beginners and experience Beekeepers. 

This class focuses on practical, hands‑on knowledge to help new beekeepers start strong and avoid common first‑year mistakes.

Classes start in March and ends in October. Each Class last about 2 to 3 hrs.


What You’ll Learn

  • Honeybee biology (queen, workers, drones)

  • Hive equipment and proper setup

  • How to inspect a hive with confidence

  • Identifying healthy brood and common problems

  • Varroa mites, pests, and disease basics

  • Seasonal management and winter preparation in Wisconsin
